Presbyterian Sharing - Where it helps! For example: Our gifts to Presbyterian Sharing... we help support McGill University's Ecumenical Chaplaincy in Montreal as it provides students with opportunities for fellowship, study, prayer, play, volunteering and outreach in the university setting. The chaplaincy's weekly Bible study and worship allow students to pause and reflect on God amidst the hectic schedule of university life. Let us remember these works in our prayers. Back to Top
All of us face difficult situations, emergencies and sickness and find that in such circumstances we, sometimes, have difficulty praying. There is a small group of people who are prepared to offer prayer support in just these kinds of situations. Simply call Margaret Simard at 613-264-5096, and your request will be relayed to the members of the group. Back to Top
On the first Sunday of each month we support the Perth Food Bank through food contributions donated by the church families. The children gather all the contributions and bring them to the front of the church during the children's time. Back to Top
A study lead by Rev. Marilyn Savage on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM in the church manse. This is an opportunity to explore God's word together without ever being concerned that you will be put on the spot. Join us for a wonderful time of fellowship as often as you are able. Let us anticipate an experience of deepening of our faith in the steadfastness of God towards us in Christ. Back to Top The Sunday School children sponsor a foster child through the Christian Children's fund of Canada. Magda Soledad Melgarejo Gamarra turns four this September 11. She lives in Correo Central, Paraguay, South America. She lives with her mother and three older siblings Alejandro, Santiago and Noelia. Our sponsorship allows her to receive medical aid, vitamins and helps support the family. We write letters every other month and their responses are posted on the bulletin board in the hallway.
